Structure of League
Our league uses a ladder format that keeps things competitive and enjoyable at every level of play. When you sign up, you’ll fill out a short survey about your experience. Whether you’re an advanced 5.0 or brand new to the game (we’ll help you get started), we use that rating to build the Week 1 matchups. From there, your performance each week determines if you climb up or move down the ladder.
You can register with friends, but all scoring is individual. The goal is simple: exciting games and the chance to meet great new people in Chicago!
League Nights
Each week, you’ll be matched with three players close to your skill level. In your group of four, you’ll play three games to 15 points, partnering once with each player. After play, you’ll report your total points out of 45. For example: if you win two games and lose the third 10–15, your score for the night is 40.
Rankings update weekly: the top two in each group move up the ladder (with first place jumping higher), while the bottom two move down.
Game times rotate between 4–5 pm and 5–6 pm to keep things fair. Matchups are based on rankings, top four together, then the next four, and so on. This system makes sure competition stays balanced, fun, and constantly evolving.
